Well. Life, or some semblance of it, goes on.

Kitchen is slightly less of a mess now. That's good. Have to remember to stop offering help to people right off the bat, 'cause it's probably just a little bit creepy. Creepy is bad, Reach. Creepy is bad.

And then there's Andrew.

Andrew, Andrew, Andrew.

That guy'll get me skinned one day. I mean... For the love of--he's a talking macaque. Why did I not think this was a bad idea several days ago? Jeez.

And then there's... Misa.

Christ, she's like a walking, talking reminder that I have no idea what I'm doing. Doesn't she have a boyfriend or something? Or is he off somewhere and she's technically free? I mean... I shouldn't even be chancing this. Nothing is going to happen. I should back off while things are still going fine. I don't really even wanna touch this one, not with a sixty-foot pole.

{ the verbal equivalent to a minor keyboard smash }

She said she liked me though.

That was just friend-like, right?
Not like-like? That'd be silly.

{ some pen marks where he really doesn't know what to write next }

I really suck at this.

A month or so ago I looked at this journal thing and said, "Nah, it's not like I'm ever gonna use it for anything."

And now I'm writing in it almost every other day.

There's irony here, somewhere.

{ pen taps }

There was something else I was gonna say, but I don't remember what it was. Must not have been that important, though, since I forgot.

I can honestly say I was the same way, I never even wrote in a journal back home, why would I here? But at least it helps you keep contact with people so you don't go stir crazy

Not going stir crazy is nice.

And it's not like I'd meet anyone just sitting in my room all day, either. So I guess the magical telephone-journal is kind of nice, in that light.

Yeah. It's funny becuase you will meet people from all over and may find people with similar intrests.

It's kind of easier than real life this way, I think.

A lot easier to look for people you'd like and sort out people you probably wouldn't be able to stand.

...Well, good to know my excessive journal use has a purpose.

(Deleted comment)
Well, good luck with that. I'll be in touch if you need me.

{ scribbled in as an afterthought }

Want a sandwich?

How else would you stay in touch with people, Reach? &hearts

Maybe it'll come back to you when you least expect it.

Homing pigeons. { visible for comic effect }

Well, okay. I probably wouldn't stay in touch with folks if I didn't use the journal.

Maybe. I've got the weirdest mental image of me suddenly remembering halfway through making a sandwich or something.

But all the windows they'd fly into~

There you go~ What would Gain do without you?

Ah ha, go make a sandwich and see if it comes to you! &hearts

Hrm. Good point. So maybe definitely not homing pigeons.

Uh... The same stuff he usually does without me? I dunno.

You know what? I think I will.

Want me to make you one while I'm down there? Might be making one for Andrew too, so... I figured I'd ask.

Magic journals work!

Don't underestimate your worth, Reach!

Huh? A sandwich for Misa Misa? Sure! &hearts Thanks, Reach! You're nice! Who's Andrew?

Heh, sometimes I wonder if this entire place is powered by irony~

Hamsters are those little rodent puffball things people keep as pet but they die a lot right?

The dictionary couldn't give a better definition.

I think that's my new philosophical theory. Paradisa is secretly powered by irony and small rodents.

...I should not be allowed to think this late at night.

Heh, see I disagree with the last part.

Your theory is probably the the best one I've heard yet.

Explains a lot.

Hey hey hey!

Does Food Reachy man want to come to Del's Tea Party with Hatter man? They decided it's in a week and it would be nice if he came~

Well... Uh, okay. Sure.
I don't think I've ever actually been to a tea-party before, though.

It's gonna be really fun! Del and Hatter man are inviting their friends and making it work and everything and it's gonna be lots and lots of fun Del promises~

Alright. Do you want me to bring anything?

uhm... Del will have to ask Hatter man... She'll let you know later?
